Pre-Cruise Overview

The Pre-Cruise has 2 parts because some people are driving and don't need the Shuttle and others are going straight to pier and don't need the hotel.
And still others only want the return airport shuttle after the cruise.

1. The Hotel, Dance, Breakfast, and Shuttle to pier - starting at $79.00/person dbl occupancy

2. The Airport Shuttles are additional.  The costs depend on which airport you are flying to (Hobby or Bush) and your arrival time (between 12:30 - 5 pm or not). 
See: Airport Transfers for details.  Guests will need to call DanceFun to reserve the airport shuttle. 
Guests will need to give reservations their flight info and a travel cell phone number for the shuttle service.

Pre-Cruise Overview & Dancing with the Texas Locals !

What a great way to kick off our cruise !  Come spend an evening at D'Amico Dance Studio with our DanceFun Staff and the Texas local dancers.

Why a pre-cruise stay?
First, is security.  Flying in early is actually a great idea to ensure you meet the ship - especially getting to Galveston.  To fly in the day of embarkation can be risky.   Airline flights are always full now days.  If your plane is late or worse - it breaks down, chances are you won't be able to catch another flight in time.  Then there is the one hour+ shuttle ride to the pier in Galveston.  Actually, it is one hour ( 42 miles) from Hobby Airport (HOU) and one and a half hours ( 70 miles) from Bush (IAH).  Again, you have only a short time to get to the pier, and if your shuttle hasa flat or breaks down, you will miss the ship and a good part of your cruise.  Plus there's the extra expense to fly to the next port.

Second, a pre-cruise is an easy transition to starting your cruise.  Our Pre-cruise gets you on the ship by mid-day to start your vacation.  Repeat cruisers will tell you, that getting on board by midday has its advantages.  You can enjoy lunch on board at the ship's opulent buffet.  Next, check out your cabin and its amenites at your leisure. Then you can take a stroll through the ship and get familiar with your new home for the week.  You will still have time to reveiw the ship's services and offerings like specialty dining, entertainment, excursions, etc. -- all before the DanceFun welcome aboard party.  

Lastly, it's fun.  Start your vacation a day early with dinner and dancing in Texas.  Come enjoy some southern hospitality.  Our pre-cruise location has all you will need.   The Comfort Suites hotel is within walking distance of a couple eatries for dinner and breakfast as well as the D'Amico Dance Studio.  If needed, there are a few other dining choices just a short distance away as well.

HOTEL, DANCE, BREAKFAST, SHUTTLE SERVICES
The DANCEFUN PRE-CRUISE is a fun and affordable option for those arriving early.  Shuttle service is available to the Comfort Suites Westchase Hotel from both Hobby (HOU) and Bush (IAH) Airports.  The Comfort Suites stay includes a hot breakfast and free internet service in your room. Several dinner locations are within walking distance and others nearby (on your own).  Admission to the dance at the D'Amico Dance Studio is included in our package.  The dance includes a lesson at 8:00 pm and the dance social at 9:00 pm.  The next morning you may enjoy a hot breakfast (included) or there are other choices just outside the hotel.  Then in the mid-morning you will meet our bus, load your luggage, and head to Galveston.  There we will go to the Royal Caribbean Cruise terminal and start embarkation.

You have to go to Galveston to catch the ship anyways, so why not come a day early AND party with us in Houston?

DanceFun Shuttle Service (Airport Shuttle)

This shuttle service is a must if you are arriving a day or 2 early. 
Cruise Line Shuttle Service is ONLY for the day of Embarkation or Disembarkation (see below)
If you are arriving a day early, we recommend our shuttle service provider. 
This will require advanced booking and your flight times.

DanceFun Shared Ride Shuttle Service

All Shuttle Services must be booked with DanceFun Directly.
To be eligible for our airport arrival shuttle service you must book your hotel with DanceFun.
The shuttle service will only deliver to the Comfort Suites Westchase.

The Airport Shuttle cost depends on which airport you are flying to (Hobby or Bush) and your arrival time (between 12:30 - 5 pm or not). 
Guests needing service before 12:30 pm or after 5:00 pm will need book a private car.
"Should" others also want the same time before 12:30 pm or after 5:00 pm, the private car rate could go down as low as the "4 or more" price.
Guests will need to give reservations their flight info and a travel cell phone number in order to book the shuttle service.

This Shuttle Service is a good and reliable service, but ONLY for the day of Embarkation or Disembarkation and ONLY within certain flight times on those days.
IF you are arriving on the day of Embarkation before 11:30 AM, we recommend this service.
Note: Transfer rates are subject to change and any unused services are non refundable.

• Serves the Port of Galveston from Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)
• Service is $47.00 each way or $94.00 round trip per person
• Available on days on embarkation & disembarkation only
• Latest Flight Arrival by 11:30 AM

• Between Bush Intercontinental (IAH) and the Port of Galveston:
